1) How much I love “Beet it” organic beetroot and apple juice! Beetroot juice has been in the news several times in recent months, and for very good reason! Scientists have shown it’s naturally high nitrate content readily converts to nitric oxide in the body, boosting blood flow and delivery of oxygen. This has health implications and benefits to those with heart problems, blood pressure problems, and can even help athletes boost their endurance! Look out for “Beet it” beetroot juice (90% beetroot 10% apple) next time your in the supermarket – it’s really delicious, very reasonably priced and possibly the healthiest morning juice you could drink.
2) Comparing yourself to others is a losing game. We are not here to be compared. We are here to shine our own lights in the world, simply being our own unique and wonderful selves!
3) Don’t take things personally! We all get arrows thrown at us all the time. It could be a snide comment from someone, or a put-down or criticism. I have learned that a) the actual “issues” lie with the other person, that b) it’s entirely up to us whether we take on other people’s “stuff”, and c) do consider any useful or worthwhile advise that you might be able to use to either grow personally or move forward in some way!
4) Be your own best friend, coach, and mentor – Whilst it’s always important to seek help, accept help, and to build a strong support network around you, the only person with you 24/7 is YOU!
How do you boost yourself when you have a bad day?
How do you support yourself when someone throws a cutting remark at you?
How do you help yourself when you don’t quite achieve all you want to?
With these words in mind, remember always to “Be your own best friend, coach and life-long mentor”!
