Lucy-Ann Prideaux is a registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with The Nutrition Society, having graduated with an MSc degree in Human Nutrition and Metabolism from Aberdeen University in 1997. As a past competitive triathlete, and with a first class BSc degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Lucy-Ann is also an experienced authority on sports nutrition at elite and recreational level, as well as on health and fitness training.

Her 10 years in private practise has attracted hundreds of individuals aiming to achieve better health, ideal weight, or optimal sports performance, through dietary and lifestyle change. She encourages people to take responsibility for their health, improves self-awareness and provides individuals with up-to-date food and nutrition education, as well as on-going support and inspiration. Her clients originate from all walks of life. She continues to work with members of the general public, competitive and recreational athletes, universities and colleges, health clubs, magazines, and other organisations interested or involved in food and nutrition.

Simply Nutrition continues to grow as a leading organisation in bringing sound nutrition and "nutritional theory" into daily life.

As an avid writer, she has had many articles published in food and health magazines, such as Natural Health and Well-Being, Choice, Here's Health, & Slimmer Magazine. She has also been featured on a regular basis in 220 Triathlon Magazine, and in Cycling Weekly on a number of occasions. Other articles and features have appeared in Shape Magazine, Glamour, and the Times Newspaper. The diversity of her work and clients allows her to bring new ideas, inspiration and creativity to all the projects and tasks she is presented with, and those that she devises herself.

Lucy-Ann is also acting Sports Nutritionist at Sportswise (The Sussex Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine). Here she works amongst a team of highly qualified doctors, physiotherapists and sports scientists. The team is led by Dr Nick Webborn, Medical Advisor to the National Sports Medicine Institute. In 2001, she worked as a member of the Sports Science and Medicine support team to the British Equestrian Team, accompanying them to the World Equestrian Games, in Jerez, Spain in 2002.
